Company Ski Day
What are the three finest words uttered? Julie Wins Lottery? Test is Negative? Nope. Company Ski Day. We all perked up at a routine Monday meeting when the boss mentioned a heralded company ski day. And you all know what happens after a ski day. Yep, you guessed it. Après at Averell’s Bar in the Roundhouse on Bald Mountain. (Definitely one of the reasons to ski in the first place.)
So this week the Sun Valley Magazine crew shut down our computers, tucked in our chairs and headed to the Mountain. Note to all you bosses out there: Taking time to get out of the workplace and have some fun with your employees is one of the best things you can do for company morale. And morale is key to keeping the cogs of a small (or large) company churning. So, cheers to our boss for another great company ski day! Keep ‘em coming!
Stay tuned for a yum! Review of Vintage Restaurant, where the SVM crew had our holiday party following the ski day—didn’t think this day could get better? The post party ended at the Casino. Bam!
