Snow has finally arrived in Sun Valley. Some are calling it a snowpacolypse, some are calling it a snownami and others are even saying it will be a snowmageddon. Whatever it is, we're just happen to see some white stuff falling from the skies! We are gearing up and saying "LET IT NUKE!" Who said you needed to have feet of snow and endless powder days to have fun around here? Its the middle of January and there is plenty to do in the Wood River Valley. From Rail James and Banked Slaloms to benefits, music and Second City comedy shows, its hard not to be grateful for this awesome place we live in... even if we do really wish there was a little more of that white stuff falling to the ground.

LiKi FAIRE Launches with a Fashion Show: Local sister duo starts a socially conscious new venture

Ketchum natives and sister duo, Lili and Kira Tenney recently launched their socially, environmentally and culturally conscious project, LiKi FAIRE, in which the two work to bring their travels, professions, the world and chosen non-profits together. Their mission is to promote cultures they have visited around the world “with a business model that creates economic livelihood, environmental sustainability, and improved health in communities around the world.” Last week they hosted their very first event, a fashion show at Ochi Gallery in downtown Ketchum to benefit environmental non-profit, Protect Our Winters (POW). Lili, who also runs Aspen Fashion Week, recruited local models/athletes to showcase ski, snowboard and winter gear from local retailers like lululemon,...
