Angela Robertson and Matthew Graff

August 20th, 2011

The Valley Club, Hailey, Idaho

Angela and Matt are a true Ketchum couple. After meeting through a mutual friend, they have spent their days riding bikes, dancing at Whiskey Jacques, walking their black Lab and living life in Matt’s beloved hometown. Once Matt proposed, on their front porch no less, it was obvious they would celebrate their marriage with friends and family right here in the place they both love.  Choosing Hailey’s Valley Club as a venue and tons of local vendors for their big day, Angela and Matt honored their love in a wedding that was perfectly Ketchum and perfectly them, complete with cowboy boots and Van sneakers. While the night may not have ended as expected, this beautiful couple and their beautiful wedding prove that love is worth celebrating and that love can definitely endure all.

WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

Angela is from Twin Falls originally and Matt grew up right here in Ketchum.

OCCUPATIONS?

We both work for long-time local business. Angela is the Store Manager of Webb Landscape in Ketchum and Matt is the Director of Marketing and Retail Sales at Soundwave.

HOW DID YOU MEET?

True to this small town community and awesome local population, we met through a mutual friend and another Ketchum native, Mollie Holt.

HOW DID YOU GET ENGAGED?

Matt had an elaborate plan to propose at River Run Lodge on Labor Day but the place was way too busy! There was no way he could find a quiet moment for a proposal. So when we got home, he instead proposed on the front porch of our house. It was perfect.

NUMBER OF GUESTS?

A little over 200.

WHAT WAS YOUR WEDDING THEME?

Our theme was Frank Sinatra with a twist. Pearls and diamonds, Vans and Cowboy boots!

COLOR PALETTE?

Red, silver, black, and cream.

SONG FOR YOUR FIRST DANCE?

Ain’t Gonna Lose You” by Brett Dennen.

HOW DID THE NIGHT END?

In the ER. That is an interesting story…

WHERE WAS YOUR HONEYMOON?

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

WHAT MADE YOUR WEDDING SO SPECIAL?

The most special part of the entire experience was all of the friends and family that traveled from great distances (like Switzerland!) to be a part of the day.

WHAT WAS THE BRIDE’S FAVORITE MOMENT?

Definitely the first dance.

THE GROOM’S?

Seeing Angela walk down the aisle with my dad.

GUEST FAVORS?

Cute matchbooks with our names and the date on them.

BIGGEST CHALLENGE?

Getting Matt’s college friends to behave!
